JOB TITLE: Director of Accounting
REPORTS TO: General Manager & Executive Producer
HOURS: Full Time Exempt. Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Supervise all aspects of the theatre’s financial operations, including the establishment and operations of accounting systems and controls
- Preparation, analysis and presentation of financial statements and budgets
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of daily, monthly and annual financial activity across organization (including productions, donations, school tuition, etc)
- Financial liaison with banks, business community, board members and Casa Mañana staff
- Preparation of financial components for grant applications
- Coordinate with all insurance needs including general liability, workers compensation, automobile insurance, employee health, dental, life and vision
- Monthly sales tax and alcohol gross receipts and sales tax reports and payments
- Cash management and cash flow projections
- Primary liaison for annual audit including planning, risk assessment, process memos, schedules, field work, review of variances and discussion of draft report
- Oversee staff accountant
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager & Executive Producer
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. CPA preferred but not required.
SKILLS: Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and ticketing systems. Experience with payroll processing systems preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years’ experience in general ledger accounting, reporting, budgeting and audit preparation.

REPORTS TO: Executive Producer
HOURS: Full Time Exempt. Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Evening and Weekend hours based on production schedule.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Broadway Series, Children’s Theatre Series, The Reid Cabaret Theatre Series, season subscription renewals, educational programs, and more.
- Coordinate with VP of Development on initiatives to increase donor base and provide donor satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Director of Education on initiatives to increase student enrollment, student engagement, and community engagement opportunities.
- Craft strategy focusing on season subscriber expansion and audience trends.
- Manage advertising budgets for the full season, individual productions, education campaigns, development/marketing campaigns, and more.
- Maintain working relationships with key media outlets and vendors.
- Serve as the face of Casa Mañana to the greater DFW community. Engage with surrounding Cultural District institutions and beyond to promote Casa Mañana.
- Coordinate with Marketing Manager on all matters relating to Public Relations, to include crafting pitches to local media (print, tv, etc) outlets and community partners.
- Serve as Marketing sounding board for Executive Producer. Work with Executive Producer on marketing plans, reporting, understanding key demographics, and looking for areas of growth.
- Plan and execute Marketing-related events.
- Research industry trends and adapt them to the performing arts model.
- Supervise and lead marketing team: including Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, and Art Director.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Producer.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or non-profit management or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS: Ambitiously creative; excellent organizational, interpersonal, supervisory and communications skills; a reputation for accuracy, responsiveness, meticulous attention to detail and follow-up; highly organized and self-motivated; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email marketing, social media and web content platforms; ticketing system knowledge (Tessitura) preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years in marketing, public relations, communications, special events or related field with at least 2 years in management. Non-profit and/or performing arts experience preferred.

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Create and manage all organic posts on social media.
- Platforms include but are not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Content types include photos, graphics (designed in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite), videos (edited in CapCut or similar software), and more.
- Plan and manage all paid advertising placements. Platforms may include but are not limited to Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Configure Meta Pixel and track conversions.
- Research, learn, and apply Actor’s Equity Association, show-specific, and other rules for creating social media content.
- Digital reputation management and brand awareness.
- Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, tags, and more.
- Pay attention to musical theatre-focused social media spheres and comment/show support where appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships with social media influencers and media contacts.
- Coordinate and manage the Instagram Takeover process with the actors.
- Coordinate with vendors/advertising partners for commercials, paid TV, OTT, radio, etc.
- Coordinate with Education and Development departments on unique campaigns, including but not limited to The Betty Lynn Buckley Awards and North Texas Giving Day.
- Coordinate with Production department for press events, appearances, and content creation opportunities.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, graphic design, or equivalent work experience.
SKILLS: Expert in social media and content creation, strong personal portfolio and online presence, creative, a strategic thinker and team player. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized. Content creation experience required, must have familiarity with either Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or CapCut (or similar content creation apps/software). Experience managing a social media account of 8K+ followers is preferred. Experience managing paid social advertising is preferred.

REPORTS TO: Assistant Box Office Manager
OBJECTIVE: Provide support for the Marketing team by giving excellent customer service to patrons through the ticket sales process.
HOURS: Part-Time, up to 20 hours per week. The Box Office is open Tuesday – Friday, 10am – 2pm; Saturday, Sunday and evening hours based on the weekly performance schedule.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Providing excellent customer service to all guests of Casa Mañana.
- Processing ticket sales and answering patron questions with poise and patience.
- Balancing cash and receipts with manager.
- Addresses all customer concerns related to ticket processes, policies, seating maps and show details.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Casa Mañana is a professional regional theatre seeking a high-energy Musical Theatre Teacher for our Spotlight classes and summer camps. The Spotlight classes are performance-based using a variety of musical theatre and pops songs. All classes participate in a biannual staged production on the Mainstage.
This position will be expected to participate in Casa Mañana’s variety of summer programs. The Musical Theatre Teacher should be well versed in dance, musical staging and vocal performance. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who loves working with kids, builds confidence in young performers, and creates a fun, disciplined classroom environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach musical theatre classes in the day/afternoon/evening. Participate in summer programs as needed.
- Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate warm-ups, combinations, and choreography in various musical theatre styles.
- Build students’ dance technique, performance skills, and confidence in a supportive, encouraging way.
- Prepare students for informal showcases and in-class performances throughout the semester as needed.
- Communicate regularly with the Education Team regarding attendance, student progress, and classroom needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that aligns with Casa Mañana’s mission and values.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience teaching helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to create a high-energy, fun, and structured learning environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative arts education environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in professional and educational theatre settings.
- Knowledge of child development and classroom management strategies.

REPORTS TO: Director of Education
HOURS: Schedule is flexible but 1-2 working days/week is ideal. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. Our after school classes are Monday-Thursday anywhere from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, depending on the day and the class. The Casa Mañana School for Musical Theatre offers theatre classes for ages 4 to 18 years old.
Education Interns will work alongside professionals in Casa Mañana Education Department. Interns directly report to the Director of the School for Musical Theatre and work alongside the Education Manager. Interns meet with the Director of the School at the middle of their internship (October) and then again at the end in December to discuss their experience and progress.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare for classes, assist with lesson plans, create programs, work in Canva and Microsoft Office, assist with office duties, etc.
- Assist with planning for The Betty Lynn Buckley Awards (organize Buckley materials, scan documents, etc.)
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings
- Assist with classes in the School for Musical Theatre based on needs/skills of the intern, for example: create choreography, serve as teaching assistant in the Acting, Dance or Musical Theatre classes
- Assist other departments as needed
Interns may have the opportunity to extend their internship into the Spring Semester. Interns may earn school or course credit. Interns may also be able to sit in on rehearsals and performances of Casa Mañana Mainstage shows.

REPORTS TO: House Manager
OBJECTIVE: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a smooth operation of the bar and merchandise areas. Work in a fun environment.
HOURS: Evening and Weekend hours based on weekly theatre schedule, not to exceed 40 hrs per week without prior approval.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Ensure that operations run smoothly for patrons who attend the theatre
- Be TABC licensed and maintain all guidelines according to TABC
- Help managers maintain inventory
- Stock bar and merchandise
- Take payments through Square and give correct change to patrons
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested
- Table service experience a plus
